I visited New York in November and felt the whole city turn into a festive wonder. The cozy weather and late fall colors gave everything a peaceful charm. I went to Kauai, Hawaii in mid-November for a peaceful vacation. This lush and tropical island looked magical. It is a perfect destination all year round. It was an awesome time to explore the hauntingly beautiful swamps on peaceful boat tours. I got to attend Cajun music festivals without the peak summer crowds. The hotels offered enticing discounts, and the foliage had a bright splash of color. The wildlife was more active, thanks to cooler temperatures and fewer insects. It was a great season for spotting alligators too.

Visiting Capitol Reef National Park in Utah this month turned out to be an excellent idea. The cooler temperatures made hiking easy. I found the summer heat a bit intense, so I felt thankful for the cooler, mild temperatures and lighter crowds. As a Breaking Bad fan, it was the perfect time to seek filming locations without loads of tourists around. I spent my days under crisp, sunny days, hiking, exploring, and enjoying gorgeous views of golden cottonwoods by the Rio Grande. I loved checking out colorful festivals.
The whole month was full of fun. I joined Dia de los Muertos, the vibrant Southwest Arts and Crafts Festivals, the lively Albuquerque Tango Festival, and the Enchantment Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival. I even saw the super-cute Doggie Dash and Dawdle. I flew into International Sunport (ABQ) and spent a long weekend enjoying the adobe charm of Old Town. I rode the Sandia Peak Tramway, hiked cool-weather trails in the Sandia Mountains, and felt the culture all around me.

I visited in November, during the off-season, to enjoy some winter sun and soak up the golden rays at the parks and beaches. The weather was sunny, mild, and had little rain. It was perfect for exploring outdoor attractions and walking around different neighborhoods. No crazy peak-season crowds, and the Accommodation was more affordable and easier to find. I loved the more intimate, local feel once the camera-clicking tourists dispersed.
The legendary bar and club scene made it a great choice for a lively birthday getaway. I discovered a lot of fun events hosted, including Día de los Muertos celebrations, the LA Auto Show at the Convention Center, the Infinity Festival Hollywood, and the eclectic music and art at the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival. I flew into International Airport (LAX) and stayed four days. I dined al fresco at Gracias Madre on a warm evening, enjoying the quieter charm of the city. I watched an Insta-worthy sunset at Griffith Park, and combined a scenic hike with a bit of celebrity-spotting at Runyon Canyon.

I took a late fall vacation to the Adirondack Mountains, New York State and it was a great choice. This underrated, vast mountain range had the best crisp air and peaceful surroundings. The whole place had a cozy vibe. I saw the last bursts of fall color still lingered at lower elevations. I enjoyed hiking trails, and scenic drives, everything was beautifully quiet. I stayed at cozy lodges and lakeside resorts which offered fantastic off-season deals.
I visited small towns like Lake Placid and Saranac, and they felt especially magical and romantic. I saw the first hints of snow, and there was festive wintry charm in the air. At the beginning, it all started to set the mood for winter. I drove 5 hours from New York City and spent a gorgeous week hiking the peaceful trails on Cascade Mountain, and enjoying early snow-sprinkled views around Lake Placid.
